Chryse (mythology)

Chryse (Greek Χρύση " the Golden " ) refers to a female figure from Greek mythology.

She is the daughter of the mythological king of the Boeotian Orchomenus Almos. She was the lover of Ares and had with him the son Phlegyas, who later became king of Orchomenus, and ancestor of the Phlegyer.
