The superfamily Chrysidoidea belongs to the order of the Hymenoptera. Together with the Apoidea and the Vespoidea they form part of the order of Stechimmen ( Aculeata ). They are considered the most primitive group within the Stechimmen. The superfamily includes about 6,000 parasitic and kleptoparasitisch living species, whose body length usually is about seven millimeters, very few species are about 15 millimeters long.

System
