The new Chrysler 300 was created in the wake of the merger of the two brands Lancia and Chrysler. The North American launch as the second generation of 2004 with the Chrysler 300C was carried out in early 2011.

In Europe, the model is offered as a Lancia Thema and thus also as a successor of the leaked Lancia Thesis since fall 2011. Exceptions are Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Design

The body with high waist line is inspired by the American predecessor, the front is in the design tradition of Chrysler. However, drawn to the rear lights indicated tail fins can be perceived as a quote of the Lancia Kappa Coupé or the classic Flaminia Coupe Pininfarina.

The interior of the new 300 is available in two leather interiors, one with Nappa leather and a Poltrona Frau.

Engines

In the U.S., the car is offered with the Pentastar and Hemi engines from Chrysler.

In Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and Ireland as well as in Korea, the 300 is also offered with the engines of its sister model Lancia Thema.
