Chuck Garland

Charles " Chuck" Stedman Garland ( born October 29, 1898 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, † January 28, 1971 in Baltimore) was an American tennis player.

Garland graduated from Yale University. In 1919 he won the Intercollegiate Championship in singles and in doubles.

In 1920 he won together with his compatriot Richard Norris Williams the doubles competition at Wimbledon against Algernon Kingscote and James Parke in four sets 4:6, 6:4, 7:5 and 6:2.

Garland was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1969.
