Chuck Palahniuk
Chuck Palahniuk [ ˡ pɑlənɪk ], bourgeois Charles Michael Palahniuk ( born February 21, 1962 in Pasco, Washington ) is an American writer and journalist. He currently resides in Vancouver and has become known primarily for his first work, Fight Club (1996 ), which was made into a film by David Fincher, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton (see also Fight Club ). His novel Choke (2008 ) was also filmed by Clark Gregg with Anjelica Huston and Sam Rockwell.
Life and work
Prior to his career as a writer Palahniuk attended the School of Journalism at the University of Oregon, worked as a freelance journalist, commercial vehicle mechanic and was an honorary capacity in homeless shelters and hostels.

Palahniuk is a member of the Cacophony Society, an anarchist society, which is the Suicide Club of San Francisco sprung. The so-called Project Mayhem from his novel Fight Club is based on the principles of the Cacophony Society.
Palahniuk's Fight Club idea was born when one morning he drawn by a scuffle appeared to work and none of his colleagues asked him about it.
