Chuck Weyant
Chuck Weyant ( born April 3, 1923 in St. Marys, Ohio ) is a retired American race car driver.
Career
Weyant comes from a racing enthusiast family. Like his father and his brother, he began his career at the Midget Cars before the Second World War. His first victory in this race series, he celebrated in 1947. Weyant Since this series remained loyal throughout his career, stood with him 64 victories beech, of which 13 are in the race for the national championship.
Weyant drove 1952-1959 in the AAA National Series. Here he was denied a victory. His best results were eighth grades at the races in Las Vegas in 1954 and Milwaukee in 1959.
Four times he was in the 1950s, even with the 500 miles of Indianapolis at the start. 1955, when he was in twelfth, Bill Vukovich died after a serious accident. 1958 during his third start - 1957 he had come as a four tenth position - came Pat O'Connor died.
