Chūgoku region

Chūgoku (中国 地方jap, Chiho, dt "Region Middle Country ") is a region in the west of the island of Honshū, the largest island of Japan.

Since Chūgoku (中国) in Japanese is also the name for China, the Chūgoku region is now with the addition Chiho (地方, dt region ) in order to avoid confusion.

Economy
