Khui ( other spellings: Chuh, Czuj, Chuje, Chuhe, IPA: [ ʧu ː x] ) is a language from the family of Mayan languages spoken in Guatemala and Mexico.
There are two related languages , the hot khui:
- San Mateo Ixtatán Chuj ( Chuj de San Mateo Ixtatán, Ixatan Chuj ) - it is estimated that over 22,000 people in Mexico and about 9,000 people speak the language in Guatemala
- San Sebastián Coatán Chuj ( Chuj de San Sebastián Coatán, South Chuj ) - it is estimated that over 19,000 people speak the language in Guatemala.
