Chunsoft

K. K. Chunsoft (Japanese株式会社 チュン ソフト, Kabushiki - gaisha Chunsofuto ) was a Japanese video game developer with a focus in console RPGs. The company was founded by Koichi Nakamura, a video game designer from Enix. Best known as they are the developers of the game series Fushigi no Dungeon (不思議のダンジョン, Fushigi no Danjon ) and the first five parts of the series Dragon Quest.

The name comes from Chun, a character in Enix's first video game Door Door occurred.

On April 1, 2012, the company merged with the KK Spike to K. K. Spike Chunsoft.
