Church of the Province of the Indian Ocean

The Church of the Province of the Indian Ocean is a member church of the Anglican Communion and covers the territory of Madagascar, Mauritius and Seychelles. Its origins seeing in the missions of 1810, it was established in 1973 independently and has seven dioceses ( Antananarivo, Antsiranana, Fianarantsoa, Mahajanga, Mauritius, Seychelles, Toamasina ), headed by the Archbishop of the Province of the Indian Ocean is, which is currently Ian Ernest. The Anglican Church Province has about 83,000 believers.
