Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Węgierki

The Sacred Heart Church in Węgierki at Wrzesińska was from 1904, built up in 1907 as a village church for the German -speaking Protestant congregation of the then Wilhelmsau, Poznan province.

After the Second World War and the expulsion of the German population, it was passed on 16 May 1946 and the new patronage of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic worship and raised on 1 October 1969 Parish Church. The consecration of the church took place on 9 October 1997.

The church is a hall building with gabled roof and a neo-baroque pediment. On the side of the sanctuary, a massive square tower with pyramidal helmet is attached. There is a low round stair tower with neo-baroque dome at the portal area. Next to the church is the cemetery.
