Chwalimierz

Chwalimierz is a village in Gmina Środa Śląska in Lower Silesia, Poland. Before the village in 1945, Polish, it was in Germany and was called Frankenthal.

Location

The village is situated about two kilometers south-east of Środa Śląska and about 31 kilometers from the city of Breslau. The area surrounding the village is rural, forest and fields alternate.

Infrastructure

The village has a paved main road that runs through the whole village. The main road ends on one side at the end of the village, on the other hand, it opens into a country road that connects Chwalimierz and the surrounding villages with Środa Śląska. From the main road, a road with cobblestones goes off, branch off from the still dirt roads that lead into the woods and the fields. In the village there are two bus stops, two times a day a bus from Środa Śląska, returns to Chwalimierz and moves back again.
