Ciechnowo

Ciechnowo ( German Technow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is part of the municipality Slawoborze ( Stolzenberg ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical location

Ciechnowo located ten kilometers north of the county town Świdwin at the voivodship road # 162 of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg ) to Drawsko Pomorskie ( Pomerania ). Until after Slawoborze it is four kilometers. The eastern city limits is the elliptical mountain complex with the 177 -meter high Kłorowka ( Klorberg ).

History

In 1375, Hans von Wedel enfeoffed his vassals Koppe of the Labenz with four hooves in Technow. That was the beginning of a series of changing owners several times, to be called in 1884 for the place Lehnsschulzen three, four farmers and three owners.

In 1925, Technow, which included the forester's house Henriettenhof and also Seehof ( Ribitwy ) and from 1928 Falkenberg ( Jastrzębniki ), 535 inhabitants in 46 houses with 101 households. In 1939 only 431 inhabitants live in the comprehensive 2,154 hectares community with 106 households. The vast majority of the population worked in agriculture and livestock, were from the breeding herd book and the noble pig of particular importance. As a craft business is only a forge to call.

By 1932 Technow lay in the district Schivelbein until this district Belgard ( Persante ) came up. Technow part of the official and the civil registry district Kreitzig ( Krzecko ) in the District Court District Schivelbein. Last municipality mayor before 1945 was Kurt Weiland.

On March 3, 1945 the Red Army troops took possession of Technow, leaving terror and looting follow. After the expulsion of the indigenous population Technow came under the name Ciechnowo in Polish hands and now belongs to the rural community Slawoborze back in - newly - powiat Świdwiński.

Church

Technow belonged until 1945 to the parish Grössin that of the parishes Grössin, Falkenberg ( Jastrzębniki ) and Pribslaff ( Stary Przybysław ) was formed. It was in the church circle Schivelbein the Church Province of Pomerania in the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union.

Today Ciechnowo belongs to the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.
