Cihan News Agency

Cihan Haber Ajansi ( CIHA ) or Cihan News Agency ( Cihan translates world) is a Turkish news agency.

Cihan was founded in 1994 in Turkey and heard how the daily newspaper Zaman, the group Feza Gazetecilik A. Ş. in Turkey to which the Fethullah Gülen movement is attributed. The news agency provides text and photos of different Turkish newspapers such as Today's Zaman, Sabah, Star, Yeni Safak and Bugün. Average produced Cihan day 450 text reports, 400 photos, 180 photo reports and 85 television reports. It provides messages in Turkish, English and Arabic. Cihan has six offices in Turkey ( Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya, Erzurum ) and correspondents in 39 countries.

The Director of Cihan, Abdul Hamit Bilici, also writes regularly as a columnist in the newspaper Zaman and Today's Zaman on foreign policy issues. His predecessor Bülent Korucu 2008 was chief editor of the magazine Aksiyon, which also belongs to Feza Gazetecilik group.

Cihan Haber Ajansi ( CIHA ) is one of the five best-known news agencies of Turkey, along with Anatolian (AA), Doğan Haber Ajansi (DHA), İhlas Haber Ajansi ( IHA) and Anka Haber Ajansi. Overall, it is in Turkey, 24 news agencies.
