The Cimpor Cimentos de Portugal SGPS or, S. A. is a Portuguese company, which was established in 1976 in Lisbon. With its subsidiaries, it is engaged in the manufacture and sale of cement. Company is based in Lisbon. Cimpor is now the market leader in Portugal, Tunisia and Mozambique, a regional market leader in Spain, Morocco and Egypt, as well as the third largest producer in Brazil.

The cement plants are located in the Cimpor Portugal in Coimbra ( Souselas ), Vila Franca de Xira ( Alhambra), Loulé and Figueira da Foz (Cabo Mondego ).

Today, the company produces concrete and aggregates, concrete and dry mortar and aggregate materials. Cimpor is an international cement group, which operates in 13 countries. With a production capacity of 33.5 million tons, the company occupies the 10th place worldwide.
