Cinderella (1950 film)
Cinderella is the twelfth full-length animated film the Walt Disney Studios and was released in 1950. It refers to the eponymous fairy tale character in an adaptation of Charles Perrault. In 1951, the film for the Academy Award in the categories Best Song, Best Music and Best Sound Editing was nominated. In the U.S., the fairytale came on 15 February 1950 in the cinemas, German theatrical release was 21 Dezember 1951.
Action
Cinderella lives as an orphan with her stepmother and her daughters Anastasia and Drizella work-shy. Her stepmother can not accept that their own daughters are not as pretty as Cinderella. They humiliate her and wish her an inordinate amount of work. But one thing they can not take, the dreams. She sings and dances in spite of their fate with their animal friends.
