Cirquent

Cirquent was a German IT consulting company. It has been renamed on 1 April 2012, NTT Data Germany and now part of the globally operating IT service provider NTT DATA. Since late September 2008 Cirquent belonged to 72.9 % of NTT DATA, a subsidiary of NTT in Japan and 25.1 % of the BMW Group. Cirquent emerged from the Softlab Group. The company has been through acquisitions and start-ups to one of Germany's leading consulting firms, it was at times in the top ten in the Lünendonk list.

Cirquent had represented its headquarters in Munich and four other locations (Frankfurt, Ettlingen, Cologne and Hamburg) in Germany and was with branches in Austria, Switzerland and the UK. Cirquent offered consulting to for the automotive, banking, insurance, telecommunications and manufacturing companies. There were also operation and maintenance of IT systems.

As of April 1, 2012 Cirquent was gradually merged with its European sister companies Keane, Intelligroup and Value Team under the brand NTT DATA.

Cirquent Austria

1982 launched the then Softlab with just five employees in Vienna. Core business was the integrated development environment Maestro. In the 1990s, the focus of Softlab on IT Service Management, which was in great demand especially by telecommunications providers was. In 2005, the merger took place with the IT consulting company Anite. This Softlab was able to double the number of employees in the consulting and project business. Since January 2007, there was a service alliance with SAP. On 1 January 2008 Softlab was renamed Cirquent.

Cirquent Switzerland

The Cirquent AG Switzerland was an independent company, which was renamed in 1992 as Softlab AG on 1 January 2008 in Cirquent AG. The company had its headquarters in Glattbrugg near Zurich Opfikon- as well as an office in Bern. The Cirquent AG was 100 % owned subsidiary of the German IT consultant Cirquent GmbH. Cirquent Switzerland advised banks, insurance companies, public services and administrations, utilities, and telecommunications and service companies in the theme Core Banking ( core banking solutions ), customer management and IT security.
