Citizens' Movement (Iceland)

The Citizens' Movement ( Isl Borgarahreyfingin ) was a political party in Iceland. It was established in 2009 under the impact of the financial crisis. In the parliamentary election in 2009 the party could win Althing 7.2 percent and four out of 63 seats in the Icelandic Parliament.

A prominent member of the party was the filmmaker Þráinn Bertelsson. Already on 14 August 2009, he resigned from the party and was attached Member.
