Citroën C35 ( 1973-1980 )

The Citroën C35 is a pickup truck, which was developed together with the Fiat 242 and built by Fiat in Italy from autumn 1973 to the summer of 1987 and by Chausson in France by the summer of 1987 to early 1991.

It should complement the commercial vehicle range of Citroën Citroën HY and next to replace this model the long term. He had not then usual technical features such as front-wheel drive, four-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension on all four wheels. Originally it was produced only as a C32 with 3.2 tonnes gross vehicle weight, but was uprated as C 35 to 3.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight.

In early 1974, the company introduced with a 2.0 - liter petrol engine and a 2.2 liter diesel engine from the Citroën CX. Available from work he was as a van, chassis for bodies, small and minibus, ambulance and motorhome.
