City Investing Building

City Investing Building was the name of a skyscraper in New York City. The construction of the City Investing Building began in 1906 and it was completed in 1908 with a height of 148 meters and 33 storeys. The highest tower on the upper photo belongs to Singer Building. To the right, and the second tallest building in the photo, the City Investing Building. Clearly visible are the two, located below the higher-lying roof, side wings, each of which is completed by a pediment. Originally it was planned to build three wings, but the owner of the plot of the block on which the third wing should find a place on his property did not sell. His address was 165 Broadway.

Both the City Investing Building, and the Singer Building was demolished in 1968 and replaced by the 226 -meter-high One Liberty Plaza. The City Investing Building is the third tallest demolished building in New York.
