City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality (short: City of Johannesburg ) is a metropolitan municipality in the South African province of Gauteng. It was formed from previously independent municipalities. Currently City of Johannesburg has over 4,434,827 inhabitants in 1,434,856 households.
