City Technology College
City Technology Colleges ( CTCs ) are secondary schools in England.
The type of school was founded in the 1980s by the Thatcher government in life. The late 1980s and early 1990s made up of 15 of these mostly relatively large schools, usually with well over 1000 students.
The CTCs are co-funded and implemented, which also determine a substantial part of individual school policies of business enterprises. There is a close cooperation between the schools and the dedicated them in business enterprises.
Since the early 2000s, the government under Tony Blair, TCS tried to encourage them into so-called City Academies, (also known as short Academies ) remodel that follow a similar, set up by the Blair government concept. By 2008, 12 of the 15 CTC 's have completed the conversion, three CTCs remain.
