Cius

Prusias ad Hypium (also: Prusa, Greek Προυσιάς ) was an ancient city in Asia Minor landscape Bithynia, today Konuralp ( Üskübü ) in the province of Düzce (Turkey).

The city was called, according to the historian Memnon ( 20,11 ) originally Kieros and belonged to Heraclea Pontica before only by Zipoites and then finally by Prusias I ( which they named after himself ) came to Bithynia. They must be distinguished from Prusias ad mare ( " Prusias the sea" ), the temporary name of Chios, which was also I of Prusias conquered and renamed.

On the territory of the city a trading center ( emporium ) called slide or Diospolis is busy today Akçakoca.
