Cividate al Piano

Cividate al Piano is a municipality in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy with 5219 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).

Geography

The neighboring municipalities are Calcio, Corte Nuova, Martinengo, Palosco, Pontoglio (BS) and Urago d' Oglio (BS ).

Attractions

• Castello di Rocca Cividate ( 12-13. Century)

• The parish church of San Nicolò ( 1237 first mentioned in documents ), renovated in the 16th century and completely rebuilt in the 18th century.

• Also of note are the Church of Santa Margherita, the church and the chapel of San Luigi dei Campiveri Beata Vergine, which was built in the 19th century.
