Cizrespor

Cizrespor is a Turkish football club from Cizre, Şırnak. The club is known in Turkey through his time in the second TFF Lig.

History

Cizrespor was founded in 1972 as " Spor Kulübü Cizre Serhat " and started games in the Mardin Amatör Lig contest. The Spielzteit 1983/84 the club finished as champions and rose to the fourth league. In the fourth highest Turkish league they were represented until 1994, but were due to players that are not published to games and training degraded by the Turkish Football Federation to the amateur league.

Only one season after the relegation of the team Cizrespor again managed to move up to the fourth league. After this season, the club changed its name officially to " Spor Kulübü Cizre Serhat " to " Cizrespor ".

With the championship of the third division, which was reached after the 1999 /00 the club rose to third in the league. The 2000/ 01 the club finished in the second division as a master of his group and had the chance to move up to the second- highest division, but failed in the play-offs.

After 7 seasons in the third division from the club rose after the 2006 /07 to the Şırnak Amatör Lig in which they are currently represented.
