CJK Unified Ideographs Extension C
The Unicode block Unified CJK Ideographs, Extension C (English: CJK Unified Ideographs Extension C ) is a Unicode block in the Unicode standard. It was introduced with version 5.2. The terms " Ideographs " in the original or " ideograms " in the translation are misleading because the scriptures thus shown are not strictly term writings ( cf. ideography ).
He closes immediately after the preceding Unicode block Unified CJK Ideographs, Extension B and encodes additional 4,149 Chinese characters from all sorts of sources. Originally, the block should be much larger and contain up to 20,000 characters, but this number was reduced due to time constraints.
