Y108 Rocks ( CJXY - FM) is a private radio station in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. The station is operated by Corus Entertainment and sends Mainstream Rock on the frequency 107.9 FM with a power of 26,100 watts.

History

1948 launched the transmit operation of the transmitter as FM 94.1 simultaneously to the second transmitting station CHML. The dual-mode transmitter in 1950 interrupted and partially. 1964 took the operators a relaunch of the transmitter on the frequency 95.3 FM. In 1974, the station was taken over by the company ML radio. Thus, the subsidiary Western International Communications was formed. In 1991, the rock music format was introduced. In 2000 the stations were acquired by Corus Entertainment.
