CJYC-FM

BigJohn.FM ( CJYC -FM) is a rock radio station in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The station is operated by Maritime Broadcasting Systems. Other sister stations are CFBC ( Oldie channels), CIOK -FM ( K100 - Today 's Best Music), located in Saint John.

History

The station began to broadcast as CFBC -FM in 1965 as the first station in New Brunswick. The station studios were located on Carleton Street in downtown Saint John. The mid 1990s moved the studios to the Chesley Drive. 1997 saw a move to the grounds and in the building of Maritime Broadcasting Systems on Union Street.
