Claes Cronqvist

Claes Cronqvist (* October 15, 1944 ) is a Swedish former football player who now works as a coach.

Career

Cronqvist debuted for Djurgårdens IF in the Allsvenskan. In 1966, he was with the club Swedish champion. In 1971 he moved to league rivals Landskrona BoIS, where he worked with the team to the Swedish National Cup with a 3-2 win on penalties after 1972 brought in the final against IFK Norrköping. With seven dismissals he holds together with Mats Rubarth the record in the Allsvenskan.

Cronqvist played 16 international matches for the Swedish national team. He participated in the World Championships in 1970 and 1974.

After his retirement Cronqvist moved to the dugout. He looks mostly niederklassige clubs such as BK or Fram Borstahusens BK, but was in the 1980s also active in his many years of play station Landskrona BoIS.
