Claes Gill

Claes Gill ( born October 13, 1910 in Odda, † 11 June 1973) was a Norwegian author, journalist, poet and actor.

Life

He was born in Odda, but grew up in Bergen. He spent his adult life in Oslo. In 1939 he debuted with fragment av et Magisk liv, 1942 followed Ord i Järn. Later he worked as an actor and director. He was head of the Rogaland Teater in Stavanger ( 1952-1956 ) and also starred in several films with.

He was also active for the language Riksmål.
