The Claiborne Parish (French: Paroisse de Claiborne ) is a parish located in the state of Louisiana in the United States. History

The Claiborne Parish was formed in 1828 from parts of Natchitoches Parish. It was named after William CC Claiborne, the first governor of Louisiana.
