Claire (Band)

Claire is a five-piece German electropop band from Munich.

Band History

The three musicians and producers Matthias Hauck, Nepomuk and Florian Heller Kiermaier investigated in 2012 for a film project their shared recording studios and a singer sat with Josie -Claire Buerkle in conjunction. This was after their participation in The Voice of Germany the year before looking for a band and so out of the project, the band Claire. The fifth member yet came the drummer Fridolin eights.

With its first volume production, the EP games, they had an immediate Internet success, which helped them to a record deal with Universal. In the summer of 2013, it had the title track of the EP a first moderate success in the German charts. In addition, the band at numerous festivals in Germany occurred, including at Melt.

The end of September they released their debut LP, entitled The Great Escape, which debuted at number 38 on the album charts. Then Claire toured extensively throughout Germany. Some concerts were sold out very quickly here in Berlin so fast that a second meeting in Berlin has been added.
