Clarence Kparghai

Clarence Kparghai (born 13 May 1985 in Monrovia ) is a Swiss- Liberian ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Lugano of the National League A since 2013.

Career

Clarence Kparghai began his career as a hockey player for SC Bern in the junior level he was active until 2004. Then gave the defender in the 2004/05 season his debut in professional hockey for the SC Langenthal from the National League B. For this he was in 24 games a template. Then he was bound by the HC Davos of the National League A, played in parallel, however, for the EHC Chur. In the following season, the native Liberians, with the Swiss Pass ran on in two games for HC Davos in the NLA and spent the rest of the season again in the NLB when HC Thurgau and EHC Biel, with whom he was master of the NLB.

The 2007/08 season began Kparghai the EHC Olten, moved to the playoffs but to his former club EHC Biel, with which he ascended as NLB Champion in the National League A in which he has since standing on the ice for the EHCB. In the seasons 2009 /10 and 2010/11, the former Swiss junior national team reached Biel only in the relegation relegation.

In December 2012, Kparghai signed a three-year contract term of the HC Lugano, who was from the 2013/14 season.

Internationally

For the Swiss junior selection Kparghai participated exclusively at the U20 World Youth Championship in 2005, when he finished in eighth place with his team.
