Clarence Pinkston

Clarence Elmer " Bud " Pinkston ( born February 1, 1900 in Wichita, Kansas, † November 18, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan) was an American diver.

Pinkston attended Oregon State University and then Stanford University. At the 1920 Summer Olympics he won the gold medal from the 10 - meter platform and a silver medal from the 3- meter board. At the Olympic Games four years later in Paris he won the bronze medal at the same event. In this Olympics, he met his future wife Elizabeth Becker know who he later coached.
