Clariden Leu

Clariden Leu AG, headquartered in Zurich was up to its merger with Credit Suisse, the fifth largest retail bank in Switzerland. The subsidiary of Credit Suisse was represented at 20 locations and managed by the end of 2010 customer funds in the amount of 96 billion Swiss francs.

History

The private bank Clariden Leu was born in early 2007 through the merger of Clariden Bank, Bank Leu, Bank Hofmann and BGP Banca di Gestione Patrimoniale and Credit Suisse Fides and was operational since January 29, 2007. Chairman of the Board was most recently Hans- Ulrich Meister, CEO officiated Hans Peter Kurz Meyer.

On 15 November 2011, the parent company, Credit Suisse announced that it intended to fully integrate Clariden Leu, Credit Suisse, reducing the cost by up to 200 million Swiss francs should decrease annually. The legal merger was completed as of 2 April 2012.
