Clark County (Wisconsin)

Geography

The County is located just north-west of the geographic center of Wisconsin and has an area of ​​3157 square kilometers, of which nine square miles are water. History

The Clark County was formed in 1853 from parts of Crawford County. It was named after George Rogers Clark, a general in the American Revolutionary War or after AW Clark, founder of Clark 's Mill in northwest Wisconsin.
