Class president

A class representative is the representative of a school class. He is - usually together with one or two deputies - elected at the beginning of the school year for a half or a whole year democratically by the whole class from its center. The selection mode is not set, so it may be that the class representative is determined in an open or secret ballot. In exceptional cases it is also possible that the class representatives is determined by the class teacher. Part-time students in vocational schools, however, choose one days of people because they are often only one or two days a week at school.

His responsibilities include representing the interests and concerns of the class against the class teacher and other teachers, as well as assisting in the organization of the class actions such as hiking days or school trips. He also serves as a contact for the student of class internal problems and conflicts with teachers. He is also a member of the student council and thus represents the interests of students, even to the whole school and the school management. Class representatives also belong to the class conference and some schools have observer at the central conferences.
