Classic Brit Awards

The Classical BRIT Awards are an annually held in the UK award in the field of classical music. They are equivalent to the BRIT Awards in popular music.

The awards are organized by the Association of the British Phonographic Industry (BPI ). They were awarded " in recognition of the power of classic musicians and the increasing sales of classical music in the UK " for the first time in 2000. The award ceremony is held annually in May at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The vote on the prices is done by " an academy of leading managers in the industry, the media, the British Association of Record Dealers ( BARD ), members of the musicians' union, lawyers, promoters and orchestra conductors ". About the "Album of the Year" voted by the listeners of the UK radio station Classic FM.
