Claude Auclair

Claude Auclair ( born May 1, 1943 in La Barre-de -Monts, Vendee, † January 20, 1990 in Nantes) was a French cartoonist.

As a nineteen Auclair came to Paris and became an illustrator for the magazines Fiction and galaxy. First short comics he published in the journal Phenix and in underground comics. From 1970 he was science fiction short stories for Pilote. For Tintin magazine he created La Saga du Grizzly ( Eng.: The Grisly saga ) and Les Naufragés d' Arroyoka ( Eng.: The castaways of Arroyoka ) and from 1973 the comic novel Simon You Fleuve (German: Simon - witness the future), which is published in Germany in all nine volumes. Auclair in this series portrays a post- apocalyptic world after a nuclear war. For (à suivre ) he created the 158 -page graphic novel Bran Ruzh (German: Bran Ruz ) together with the lyricist Alain Deschamps. This was followed by Le Sang du flamboyeant with lyricist François Migeat, Tuan Mc Cairill with Jacques Acar and Alain Deschamps in 1985 and Celui -là (English: Nomads ) with lyricist Alain Riondet.
