Claude Gauthier (ice hockey)

Claude Gauthier is a former Canadian professional ice hockey player.

Gauthier played the position of right winger and was selected as part of the NHL Amateur Draft 1964 in the first round in the first position of the Detroit Red Wings. Previously he had played for a junior team in the Canadian Rose Movement in the province of Quebec. However, the Canadians never played a game in the National Hockey League. In the season 1964/65 he was at the St. Jerome Alouettes in the Quebec Junior A Hockey League action. After that, he was also active for Sorel in the QJHL.
