Claude Marie Paul Dubufe (* 1790 in Paris, † April 24, 1864 in La Celle- Saint- Cloud) was a French painter.

Life

In 1810 he made ​​his Salon debut with a painting that is lost today. Get on the other hand is, among other things, his painting Apollo and Cyparissus of 1820, which is exhibited in the Musée Calvet in Avignon. Also to his works is an art - interpretation of John Milton's poem Paradise Lost.

His son, Édouard Dubufe, also became a painter.
