Claude Meisch

Claude Meisch ( born November 27, 1971 in Petingen ) is a Luxembourgian politician.

Career

In 1998 he was graduated at the University of Trier in business mathematics. From 1999 to 2013 he worked at Banque de Luxembourg. His political activity began in 1999 when he was also the first time for the Democratic Party ( DP) elected to the Luxembourg Parliament. 2004, 2009 and 2013 he was re-elected. At the local level he was at first 2000-2002 alderman of the city of Differdange. From 2002 to 2013, finally mayor of the city. From 2004 to 2013 he was president of the Democratic Party. Since December 4, 2013, is education and higher education minister in the government begging cutter.
