Claude Parisot
Claude Parisot (* 1704 in Étain; † March 3, 1784 ) was a French organ builder. He was the scion of a family of organ builders from Étain in the department of Meuse in the Lorraine region of France.
Life
Parisot first learned at the Lorraine organ-builder Christophe Moucherel and 1727 in Paris by Louis -Alexandre Cliqout and Jean-Baptiste Clicquot. From 1735 Parisot built numerous organs in the north and north-eastern France.
His nephew Henri Parisot followed him as an innovator and builder of many organs in Normandy and Maine.
