Claude Renoir

Claude Renoir ( born December 4, 1914 in Paris, France, † September 5, 1993 in Troyes, Aube, Champagne, France) was a French cinematographer.

Life

Claude Renoir was born into an artistic family, his father was the actor Pierre Renoir, his grandfather, the painter Pierre- Auguste Renoir. With his uncle, the director Jean Renoir he made several films, among them A Country Outing ( Partie de campagne ), 1936 and the current ( Le Fleuve ) 1951. Renoir, who worked with directors such as Roger Vadim and Maurice Cloche, lost during the 1970s years slowly his eyesight and retired in the early 1980s from the film business. His last film, the documentation Lovers of Truel he turned in 1985.
