Claude Wiseler

Claude Wiseler ( born January 30, 1960 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg politician and former Minister of Social Chrëschtlech Vollekspartei (CSV).

Life

The graduate of Athénée de Luxembourg studied until 1989 at the Sorbonne literature. He then returned to the school to teach there. From 1987 to 1999 he worked as a civil servant in Luxembourg ministries. 2000 to 2004 he was Assistant Secretary of the Mayor of Luxembourg.

In the period from 2004 to 2009 he was Minister for the Public Service and Administrative Reform, Minister for Public Works. From 23 July 2009 to December 2013 Wiseler was Minister for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, a merger of the Ministries of Planning, Environment, Transport and Public Buildings. Since December 2013 he is a deputy in the Luxembourg Parliament.

1995 to 2000 he was Secretary General of Chrëschtlech social Vollekspartei, he is since 2009 together with Octavie Modert Vice President of the party.

Wiseler is the father of three children.
