Claudette Werleigh

Claudette Werleigh (* 1946) was from 7 November 1995 to 7 February 1996, the first Prime Minister of Haiti.

Claudette Werleigh studied law and economics in the U.S., Switzerland and Haiti. From 1976 to 1987 she served as Secretary General of the Haitian Caritas. In September 1993, she was designated Secretary of the exiled government of Haiti. From 1995 to 1996 she was three months Prime Minister of the country.

Since 2007 Werleigh Secretary General of Pax Christi International.
