Claudia Heill

Claudia Heill ( born January 24, 1982 in Vienna, † 31 March 2011, ibid ) was an Austrian judoka.

Life

The time soldier was a participant at the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008. Garnering silver in Athens in 2004 as the first Austrian judoka an Olympic medal. Beijing 2008 they failed in the fight for the bronze medal and was ranked 5th In European Championships Heill won five medals.

On June 21, 2009, she gave her resignation from active sport known, then she attended the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt the program " Training and Sport" and worked as a trainer at the Austrian performance sports center Southtown ( ÖLSZ ) ( Master Degree: 4th Dan ) worked.

On 31 March 2011 Heill died in the 3rd district of Vienna highway after falling from the sixth floor window of the house in which she lived. The police suspect a suicide. Claudia Heill was buried on 19 April 2011, at Vienna's Central Cemetery under great sympathy.
