Claudia Kristofics-Binder

Your international debut had Kristofics binder in 1976. Third position at the national championships, she debuted at the European Championships, World Championships and Olympic Games. From 1977 to 1982 she was Austrian champion. In 1980 she played in Lake Placid her second Olympic Games, finishing in seventh place. At the World Championships she finished fifth. Her breakthrough experienced a year later. Both at the European Championships in 1981 in Innsbruck domestic as well as at the World Championships in Hartford, she won the bronze medal. Both times it was the best in the compulsory figures. 1982 Kristofics binder was finally in Lyon European champion and won again in Copenhagen bronze at the World Championships.

1981 and 1982 was Claudia Kristofics binder Austrian Sportswoman of the Year. After the 1982 World Cup, she ended her amateur career and turned professional. Kristofics binder studied sports science and was later a lecturer at the University of Vienna, Institute of Sports Science. My academic degree is Master. She is a certified trainer and choreographer. She also works in the sports department of the ORF and also as a manager. Her daughter Delphine Kristofics binder is also active figure skater ( winner of the international "Mozart Cup" Junior 2007).
