Claudia Porwik

Claudia Porwik ( born November 14, 1968 in Coburg ) is a former German tennis player.

She won in her career seven doubles titles and three tournaments in singles and has been on the world rankings as the highest position in the individual number 29 (1990 ) and in the double number 24 (1994). Your biggest single achievements came at the Australian Open, where she reached the quarterfinals in 1988 and 1990, the semi-finals. With Germany, they also won the 1992 Federation Cup. Her last professional tournament played Porwik in August 1997 in Salt Lake City.

After her career she opened in Fürth a tennis school. Together with her husband she founded shortly after a very successful tennis school in collaboration with the TSV Altenfurt in Nuremberg.
