Claudio Corti (motorcycle racer)

Claudio Corti ( born June 25, 1987 in Como ) is an Italian motorcycle racer.

Career

2004 Corti was in the Italian Superstock Cup runner-up. The following year he drove 600 Cup on Yamaha YZF -R6 in the FIM Superstock. There he won with five wins and seven podium finishes in ten races before Yoann Tiberio the title. In 2006 he joined in the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup for the Yamaha Italia team. In the years up to 2009 he was, with the exception of 2008, each runner. 2006 Alessandro Corti polita was defeated in 2007 he finished second behind Niccolò Canepa and 2009, now on the road Suzuki, defeated him Xavier Siméon.

2010 joined Claudio Corti in the newly created Moto2 class of the motorcycle world championship in the team Forward Racing Suter and took in his debut season 20 points. His best result here was the ninth place in the Grand Prix of San Marino at Misano.

For the 2011 season the team moved Corti Italtrans and reached 25th place with 23 points in the overall standings. The following year, he still went to the team and started to Kalex in the side of the Japanese Takaaki Nakagami. At the Grand Prix de France at Le Mans Corti ranked behind Thomas Luthi ranked second, reaching his first podium in the World Cup. Despite this result, Corti was released after 13 races of his team. So he started the season finale MotoGP in Valencia as a wildcard rider for the team Avintia Blusens.

2013 drove Claudio Corti for NGM Mobile Forward Racing in the MotoGP class. His team-mate Colin Edwards was. The two each piloted a FTR - Kawasaki.
